From West to East Indonesia, Four Epicenters of Humanity Ignite for Palestine

Indonesia once again affirms its place at the forefront of global solidarity. On Sunday, October 12, 2025, within a single day, four cities across two of the nation’s largest islands bore witness to how compassion and unity can move a nation. From Padang and Bukittinggi in West Sumatra, to Blitar in East Java, and finally to Jakarta, the national epicenter of resonance, the movement unfolded simultaneously with one rhythm, one voice for the freedom of Palestine.

This wave of action was realized through cross-sector collaboration initiated by QUPRO Indonesia, working together with local governments, community groups, and humanitarian networks across the archipelago.

In Padang and Bukittinggi, thousands joined a solidarity long march during Car Free Day, marking the week leading up to the Aksi Bela Palestina & Charity Concert featuring Wali Band, held in collaboration with local authorities and civic organizations.

From the west, the momentum carried eastward. In Blitar, QUPRO and the Lembaga Manajemen Infaq (LMI) hosted the Humanitarian Concert: Two Years of the Gaza Genocide, a stage blending art, reflection, and moral appeal.

Meanwhile, in Jakarta, QUPRO took part as one of the driving forces behind the International Action for Palestine at Silang Monas, commemorating two years since the Taufan Al-Aqsa tragedy, alongside hundreds of humanitarian and philanthropic organizations and tens of thousands of participants.

“QUPRO is ready to collaborate with all elements of the nation to organize events that inspire, resonate, and create lasting impact. We believe the strength of this country lies in collaboration, not competition. This is the era of coopetition, not competition,” said Ali Amril, CEO of QUPRO Indonesia.

Echoing the same spirit, Nishrina Zahra Nur Aini, General Manager for Project and Retail Program (GM PRP) of QUPRO Indonesia, emphasized that collaboration is no longer optional, but a necessity in today’s interconnected social landscape.

“Every humanitarian event must be built together. There is no great movement without cross-sector and cross-regional unity. This is the most concrete way to ensure that solidarity does not end on the stage, but grows into collective public consciousness,” she said.

In one day, across four cities, four epicenters of humanitarian solidarity ignited. Indonesia once again proved that solidarity is not merely sympathy, it is a living movement, a continuous voice for the freedom of Palestine.
