Gagal Mempertahankan Gelar Juara Di IESF 2023

The Indonesian National Esports Team must recognize the superiority of the Philippine National Team in the 2023 World Esports Championship (IESF) Grand Final in the Mobile Legends category which took place in Romania on Sunday (3/9/2023). After losing 1-4 to BO 5 in the match.

The Indonesian team also met the Philippine team in the group stage but lost the match after losing 0-2 to the Philippines. With this defeat, the Indonesian team had to move down to the lower bracket. Even though losing doesn't make the players down.

Pada lower bracket Tim Nasional Mobile Legends Indonesia langsung bertemu dengan Mongolia dan mesir yang masing-masing berhasil dikalahkan oleh Indonesia dengan skor 2-1, pada Sabtu (2/9/2023).

Sedangkan pada upper bracket, Filipina mengalahkan Saudi Arabia dengan skor 2-0 dan berhasil menuju Grand Final. setelah mengalami kekalahan, Saudi Arabia terlempar ke lower bracket dan langsung bertemu dengan Tim Indonesia yang sudah menunggu di Final lower bracket untuk memperebutkan satu slot ke Grand Final.

Pada saat Final lower bracket, indonesia berhasil mengalahkan Saudi Arabia dengan skor 2-0 sekaligus mendapatkan 1 slot tiket Grand Final World Esports Championship melawan Filipina kembali.

In the momentum of the Grand Final on Sunday (3/9/2023), Indonesia succeeded in defeating the Philippines in the first match, with a good starting set for the Indonesian team, but in the second match the Philippines equalized to 1-1, so at this crucial moment it is very important for both teams to continue fighting to overthrow each other.

Until the third and fourth matches, the Indonesian team was unable to survive so they had to lose again to 1-3 and made the Philippines win the title in the Final World Esports Championship (IESF) in Romania. With this defeat, Indonesia failed to defend its title in the Mobile Legends category. After 2022, Indonesia won the title by defeating the same team, namely the Philippines.
